Viktor Shcherban
Freelance trainer with hackers&wizards
Viktor has been building software for twenty years and co-founded five companies along the way, most recently TimberBase, a global timber marketplace he took from zero to an acquisition by a NASDAQ-listed buyer. For the past four years he has shipped production systems as a gen-AI consultant in Berlin: RAG pipelines, agentic workflows and evaluations for customer support (Sixt) and insurance (Alteos), and voice agents that answer real phone lines. He also runs a Telegram assistant that helps Ukrainian refugees navigate German bureaucracy, an NGO project he started in 2023 and still maintains. Since 2025 he has trained over 120 developers in his hands-on gen-AI workshops and given talks at AI meetups on agentic systems and AI-assisted coding. At hackers&wizards he delivers Agentic Engineering for Developers and QA training, a two-day workshop on coding agents.
