This site is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no tracking pixels, and has no forms or accounts. We collect no personal data from you directly on this page.

We check your browser's primary language in your browser. On your first direct or external visit, we may offer the matching English or German page. We do not redirect you.

We save your choice as en or de under hw.localePreference.v1 in your browser's local storage. It remains until you change the choice or clear this site's data. We save a per-tab marker under hw.localeSuggestionSeen.v1 in session storage. It prevents the note from repeating and disappears when you close the tab. These values stay in your browser. We do not use them for analytics or tracking.

The site is served by GitLab Pages (GitLab Inc.) and delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) as a content delivery network. To send you the page, these providers process technical access data such as your IP address, the requested file, and the time of the request in their server logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the site securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These providers operate servers outside the European Union, including in the United States, under their own data-protection terms.

If you email us, we process the data you send so we can reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your message and, where it concerns a possible engagement, the steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep the message only as long as we need it for that purpose.

When you book a call, the link takes you to haw.dev. The member area and checkout run on community.hackersandwizards.dev. Other links on this site may lead to third-party sites. Once you follow an external link, that site's privacy notice applies, and hackers&wizards cannot control how external sites handle your data.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection regarding your personal data. To exercise any of these, email us at the address above. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
