Stefan Munz
Founder & Co-CEO
Stefan Munz is Founder & Co-CEO of hackers&wizards in Hamburg, which trains and mentors engineering and product teams in agentic engineering. He went deep into Mac development at university, back when it was a niche with barely any jobs. Then the iPhone arrived and the head start paid off. He has trusted curiosity over the safe bet ever since: twenty years of production code, first at a small agency, then years leading mobile engineering at XING. Long before most roadmaps mentioned AI, he spotted the pattern that taught him to read a team: the tooling kept getting better while delivery got slower, a problem in the foundations that agents magnify rather than fix. Today he helps teams adapt to a software world that is being rewritten underneath them. With each client he works out where their team really stands, what the next step is and which trainer should guide them through it. He also defines what gets taught in Agentic Engineering for Developers and QA and in the Agentic Software Factory team training. He founded Agentic Hamburg (opens in a new tab) and runs it with two co-organizers. What began as one packed meetup in July 2025 became, in March 2026, Hamburg's first conference built entirely on agentic engineering practices.
