Björn Rochel
Freelance trainer with hackers&wizards
Björn is an independent consultant for agentic engineering, working with small companies and large corporations on rolling it out across their engineering organizations. Earlier he was Senior Manager Engineering at Wellfound and Director Architecture at XING, where he introduced GraphQL and led the API migrations that followed. That is where he learned change management and how to get a large initiative over the line, which is most of the work. At hackers&wizards he specializes in Agentic Software Factory, though he also runs the full arc from zero to factory. His March 2026 talk at Agentic Conf Hamburg argued that a better harness beats a bigger model, which was a lite software factory before the term caught on.
