Alexander is CTO at YogaEasy in Hamburg, where he owns the video streaming platform with 800,000 users end to end, the Rails code as much as the product, marketing, CRM and accounting it serves. On a technical decision he weighs what it means for the business and what it means for tech, and he ships production code with coding agents every day. The management half comes from thirteen years at XING, the last ten as Director of Engineering, where his platform teams enabled more than a hundred developers in twenty-odd domain teams to ship unified apps to 13 million users. At hackers&wizards he delivers two-day trainings for developer and QA teams, runs train-the-trainer cohorts, and mentors engineering leaders. His rooms are often mixed, architects, product owners and a division head at one table, so he adjusts the focus to the room. In his free time he works on music with agents at hand, restores historic instruments, and plays live with his band.
